ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Cytandra, a global social impact expert.
I grew up on a farm in Massachusetts as the daughter of a tropical botanist. I began traveling around the world in infancy, visiting and working in diverse locations whether on my father’s botanical expeditions in Indonesia, living with family in rural Scotland, volunteering as a translator for medical organizations in the Dominican Republic, or conducting archeological field work in Honduras.
I was always drawn to the people and their stories, so different from mine, yet finding myself enrichened by our time together, calling me to make the world a kinder, more inclusive place for all.
My life’s calling is in reducing poverty, creating opportunities for all, and providing voice to marginalized and vulnerable communities. Other than being a mother, my greatest joy is in seeing others succeed and overcome hardship to build better lives for themselves and their families.
“I see my role as removing roadblocks and being an action-oriented thought partner to help my clients and partners execute more effectively and efficiently through a Care, Change, Commit mindset.
I achieve this through a collaborative approach based around transparency, Listening, Learning, and Leveraging.”
